Firm Overview

Since 1970, the Law Firm of Barron, Rosenberg, Mayoras & Mayoras has had a proud tradition in the Southeast Michigan area. Our lawyers have helped thousands of people in the areas of Elder Law, Estate Planning, Litigation, Estate Administration, Probate, Business Law and Real Estate Law.

The Center for Elder Law is one of the first law firms in the Detroit area to specialize in elder law, a large, all-encompassing term that includes Medicaid planning, nursing home and assisted living issues, wills, trusts, estate planning, conservatorship, guardianship, powers of attorney, and more. Our attorneys, in conjunction with our network of counselors, social workers and health care resources, pride themselves in their ability to handle every eventuality, all the while preserving the assets of our clients. We are very involved in issues confronting senior citizens, using our spare time to speak out against Medicaid Estate Recovery and serve such organizations as the Alzheimer's Association and Special Olympics of Michigan.

Though our reputation is rapidly growing, we will never lose sight of what got us to this point. It's not only expertise and hard work; it's also the personal touch that we commit to every case. The attorneys of our firm know that settling people’s affairs is only part of their job. This job is also about helping people feel comfortable with the process. Nothing less would be acceptable. When you become our client, your family becomes our family.

While we have eight attorneys working in Elder Law, the lawyers of our firm also have other specialized interests. Don L. Rosenberg, one of our principal partners, has a passion for families confronted with Alzheimer's disease, is a member of the Board of Directors of the Alzheimer's Association - Greater Michigan Chapter and will become the Chair of the Board this summer. He is also actively involved as an officer of the Elder Law and Disability Rights Section of the State Bar of Michigan. Our senior principal attorney, Ronald M. Barron, has a special interest in minority-owned businesses and mortgage lending as well as a skilled litigator for over 30 years. Andrew Mayoras has a special expertise in contested probate proceedings. Danielle Mayoras has a passion for public speaking. Danielle's is a Board member of the Senior Coordinating Aging Network (SCAN) of Oakland County and an Advisory Board Member of Smart Women's Coaching. Danielle's responsibilities include marketing the firm's services and providing community education to the public and numerous organizations. She is committed to ensuring the public understands the importance of planning, whether it is for services or a loved one of special needs.
